Peer Review Process

AROE will inform the author when one original is received.

A paper could be rejected, without peer-reviewing process, when it is considered that it does not conform to the ethics, standards, or does not fit the profile of the contents of AROE. The Editorial Board will decide on the publication of an article after a blinded peer-revision process.

The Editorial Board, on the basis of the reviewers' informs, will decide to publish or not the paper. Previously, the author will be requested to modify the paper, according to the referee's suggestions, if the case.

The final acceptance of a contribution will be communicated.

The evaluation process is by "pairs" and "single blind" (single-blind peer review), maintaining the anonymity of the evaluators. If there is a discrepancy, it will be sent to a third evaluator. Two referees will be asked to evaluate the paper. The decision of the publication can be conditioned to the introduction by the authors in the original text of the modifications proposed by the reviewers. AROE will notify the author the acceptance of the article.

At the end of each article will appear the dates of its reception and approval.

AROE will publish at the website the names of external evaluators.
